THE CUBE, BIRMINGHAM
An unfortunate incident occurred at the £100 million city centre development, The Cube when the external facade was subjected to concrete spillages two weeks before the client’s inspection.
The damage included etching to glazing and anodized aluminium panels. We were working on behalf of Haga Metallbau, a specialist designer/manufacturer of cladding systems.
There was a two week deadline and we used our high level operatives with two teams working from two S85 boom lifts. Two other teams worked from two LEO 30T Spider lifts and two teams of four men worked from the onsite mast climbers.
We also used two rope access teams to tackle the tricky elevation overlooking Birmingham’s Canal network.
